Gasa Gasa Sound Baffle Mural

Gasa Gasa is one of the clubs that defines New Orleans. Musical acts both local and touring have been a part of the rich history of New Orleans music scene that Gasa Gasa helps foster. The problem is that its also a concrete box. Not known for its sound quality, the concrete box required some modification to be a suitable space in fulfilling its cultural duties.
In this project we used fiberglass sound baffling as our main material, mounting and wrapping it to create the unique "mural" effect that doubles as a sound dampener. Both functional and aesthetic? Absolutely.
